Sunglow Pier Sunrise

It was a beautiful morning to catch the sunrise! I snuck out extra early to get some long exposure night shots before the sun broke.  The first several photos below were taken in almost complete darkness, but you’d never know it looking at the pictures. When you work with long exposures, the camera’s shutter stays open a long time, allowing moonlight, starlight, and any other available nearby light, to help illuminate the scene.  Here are some shots from the Sunglow Pier today in Daytona Beach.
